The Hon'ble Punjab and Haryana High Court in the case of Pankaj Kumar v. Pankaj Kumar ("the Petitioner") has filed a petition under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure ("Cr.P.C.") for grant of regular bail to the Petitioner pertaining to complaint case filed under offence punishable under Section 132(1)(a), 132(1)(b), 132(1)(c) and (i) of the Central Goods and Services Act, 2017 ("the CGST Act") wherein it has been alleged that, the Petitioner has issued fake bills by creating paper firms and thereby causing loss to the government exchequer.
